I'm a huge fan of everything Ron does - own all of his Ugritone kits, etc. Especially the grooves. He is the master. Because Ron really, really can groove. Ron is not some dreary metronome -- he can swing, play around the beat, it's like having Bill Ward in your band. Ron has a real feel for the darker genres -- doom, stoner, black; he's not some bored session ash*le in a nuke-worthy shithole like Los Angeles or NYC, but he's a real drummer (and I think he's in a real country like Finland, not a strip mall with guns like the US) Ron is the best and I'll buy everything he does because he is making the kind of stuff that should be supported.

Nope. These are completely new grooves. Certain grooves were part of Ugritone sessions/B-Roll but with these you will get completely fresh new set of Drum beats to work with.
In short yes, however since most libraries use different mappings - notes may not play 100% correctly. If your drum library has a EzDrummer/Superior Drummer mapping preset, load that and the notes should play correctly.
We update mappings from time to time, let us know which ones to add.
When using Kontakt and its respective libraries' Grooves function to preview MIDI files, please be aware that the MIDI files might be altered from the originals and may not play as intended. We are not responsible for any inconvenience this may cause. For best results, we recommend using your DAW's MIDI Preview tool or employing the Drag & Drop method as a workaround.
